Our little friend, Pearl

Pearl hosted a fine party for us the other day. She was adopted by our friends, Blane, Rachel, and Isaac. She is most likely related to a Chinese Crested, because of her super thin, delicate frame, similar to our Italian Greyhounds.
Gollum loves Pearl, but he had to sit back and relax at times. Pearl shared her toys, her food, and her lounge chairs very easily. She is such a sweet girl.
Artimus and Gollum remembered her even though it had been nearly a year since our last visit.
Pearl just wanted to play and play and play. Then, even Pearl had to pass out eventually.
Gollum tried to shorten all his long legs to fit into her bed. It was very cute how he turned in circles over and over again before he could scrunch up inside the soft bed.
Then he sortof just gave up. This is his "mommy-I'm-so-tired-pleeeease-let-me-sit-in-your-lap" look.
Here's the background information: Gollum and Pearl mid-flight sprinting through the kitchen. The tiled floor gave me a little scare, because the boys slip and fall pretty easily. However, Pearl showed them the ropes, and they managed to stay in one piece.
We didn't lose any limbs; no legs were snapped in two on this day. Gollum loved playing with Pearl especially since she could keep up with him! And occasionally she did some backtracking moves that Gollum didn't see comin'!
"Pearl and Gollum, sittin' in a tree" hahahaha ...They always hit it off.
Blane, Rachel, and Isaac just finished a beautiful patio that the dogs could get really great traction. They cut and cornered just like horses in the rodeo.
Artimus generally stayed in the background and supervised, like the dignified animal he is.
Gollum wasn't too proud to show that he is smitten.
Precious Pearl, you are such a sweet girl. Thanks for wearing my kids OUT. They were asleep in about 10 seconds after we got in the car to travel home. Oh, I almost forgot. Thanks for the bully sticks (also called pizzle sticks). They absolutely adore them. Artimus tore up my purse when we got home trying to get my purse unzipped so he could snatch them up. I hate to know they are made from 100% bull penis. hahahahaha!

  1. Really fun pictures of the puppies playing together! Gollum is obviously having a blast. Oh, and I can totally see him trying to curl up in a bed that's too small!

In some of these pics, Pearl looks like a scrawny Westie. Maybe?

  2. You are totally right; I never thought of it~ She is a really small, skinny Westie...Maybe a Westie/Chinese Crested mix. She is really sweet and mostly very quiet. At one point they are wrestling and it looks like they are hugging, but of course, I wasn't quick enough with the camera.
