We had our Independence Day celebration at Kimble Kastle. Tom enjoyed engaging the kids' in some sort of violent ball-throwing game. I think they had quite a lot of fun; unfortunately, I didn't get in on the pool games.



It was so hot, and I'm surprised we weren't all in the pool.

Karen and Mike set up a misting system on their patio though. It cooled things off quite a bit.Karen let me bring out the Fred-meister. He's such a good guinea pig. He's gentle and friendly, but he wasn't a big fan of the misting system.
This is Karen's very cool mother-in-law. Karen--you are a very lucky girl!
Photo tip: Try to keep your trap shut while taking a picture.

Here's the patio where Mike grilled chicken wings, corn on the cobb, and pork/chicken kabobs. Oh my goodness deliciousness.
