Gay pride

The Rainbow Lounge received some unwanted noteriety in late June. The Dallas Morning News printed this statement: The TABC today released a statement acknowledging Chad Gibson was in their custody when he sustained a serious head injury during the Rainbow Lounge inspection over the weekend. As a result of mistreatment or the appearance of such mistreatment, the gay community demonstrated their disapproval in downtown (Sundance Square). Of course, it doesn't take much to make me really excited.
Since the gay community feels comfortable enough to vocalize their disapproval, I feel that Fort Worth has progressed a little further in the direction of tolerance. I don't pretend to know a great deal about gay rights, but I'm most definitely a fan of love and acceptance of the gay community.
Personal freedom ROCKS!
