The Kimble boys are pretty much perfect. We took them on a 115 degrees walk down to the Trinity river, and they still had fun with minimal whining. My dogs complained more than they did.
They let us take pictures of them. A beautiful photo shoot. Too bad it was hotter than hell!
Could they be any sweeter? um. no.
So, here we are trudging back with the heat bouncing off the pavement and the sun shooting solar darts down at us.
We should have stayed in the party room, playing hide-n-seek!
We took the shelves out of the cabinets, so we could hide in them.
Maybe we should skip the Trinity River walk until the weather decides to avert the total body meltdowns! Thanks for coming downtown guys!

Andrea, even though it was hot, the pictures did not show suffering people. They looked like they all had fun. (I guess that is why you did not take pictures of the "boys" during the trek, they would have showed the "real" picture!) Ha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat mommy to hide in the cabinet. That is why they are good kids, they have a great mom.
Nice blog.
Love you, and the "complainers" too, MomGrandma

Oh, my! What a hot afternoon! They looked like they had fun though. Yes, I would have just stayed indoors. Taking the shelves out of the cabinets? Now why didn't I think of that?!
ReplyDeleteI think that calls for a snowcone. Or even better, a Slurpee! I wish we had 7-11's down here in Houston.
