This is how Gollum and I ended up. We were sooooo tired. We had so much fun; laughed and played all day with the Kimble kids. Artimus and Gollum went from one adventure to the next. I loaded them up in the car at 8:30 am then we went to look at a new playground, then to a fishing pond, then to Green Valley park to feed the ducks.Karen, Jack, and Luke met us at Green Valley then after the ducks were completely stuffed we came back to our place in downtown Fort Worth. Jack made his "mansion" out of playing cards.
Then we went to the party room where Jack and Luke took turns hiding from the dogs. Once the dogs were too tired to even respond to their squeaky toys, we knew they were "done for." They collapsed around 4:30 pm.
It was a truly fun day, but even Artimus and Gollum couldn't keep up with the bigger boys.
Here are some photos from that super fun day:
Artimus and Gollum say "Thanks Jack, Thanks Luke! We had a great day! Come visit again very soon!"

great pics, i love the ducks and this weather lately has been amazing. i'm loving this overcast in the 90's with a smidge of humidity.
ReplyDeleteyou don't think there is much difference between 105 and 95 do you? we are finding ourselves outdoors more in this "cooler" weather.
have a great week,
nicole
Look how close the ducklings let ya'll get! Amazing! and they're so stinking cute. My favorite pic/part of this post? Jack's card mansion... that is so cool and I'm sure takes lots of patience!
ReplyDeleteWow, that IS a full day! Makes me sweaty just thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteI need a nap.
I am like Danell...can't believe the momma duck is letting you so close to her babies.
ReplyDeleteWay too cute.
