Tug of War

Mallory and Fenway learned how to play nicely with each other. When they were younger, they were too aggressive. Now, they play different games of chase, and they gently mouth each other. In this video, they pull each other around the room with a stuffed dog in their mouths. When they bite a certain part of the toy, it barks and growls.

  2. OMG, how incredibly sad. I saw this on the news and looked at my husband and said I wasn't sure I wouldn't follow my dogs into frozen water to save them without even thinking twice.
May God Bless your family and receive you all with open arms...

  6. Andrea, I never knew your name but I passed you many a morning at Green Valley with my German Shepherd. I was so sad to hear of your passing and I know how you loved those dogs. Tom, my heart goes out to you. Your wife was always smiling and sweet.

  10. To Andrea's family, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. There is nothing I or any of us can say to ease your pain, but please know that we are crying with you and praying for you. For those of us who are parents to four-legged kids, we would have all done the same thing.

  11. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to Andrea's family and friends. I didn't know her, but by all accounts I've heard, she was an awesome lady, and I really wish we had been friends. I would have done the same as she did...the bond between a human and their dog is remarkable and something to be cherished.

I've contacted Italian Greyhound Rescue and we will be keeping an eye out for Gollum. Please let us know if we can do anything to help get him back home with his family.

    God Speed...

  12. So sorry to hear about Andrea and the babies. I would have done the exact same thing as she did, I have two fur babies of my own that are my kids and I would do anything for them.

    RIP Andrea, Artimus and Mallory

My thoughts and prayers go out the her family and friends.

  13. It's absolutely amazing how so many of you mentally unstable people would jump in a frozen pond and drown for a dog that was already dead. The obsession with dogs is an epidemic. No dog is worth a human life.

  14. There's a lot of dogs, especially Chihuahas, that should all be put to sleep or clubbed with a baseball bat.

  17. This is a heartbreaking story. Andrea's loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. And praying that Gollum gets back home where he belongs.

Oh, and I would have done the very same thing Andrea did. No way would I let my dogs drown right in front of me without trying to help them. And anyone who says they wouldn't do it has obviously never been blessed with the unconditional love of a pet.

  18. Wow! I can't believe that someone would come on here just to say something as unpleasant as the two previous comments. What is the matter with you?
Anyone else who has negative thoughts on this subject, please exercise some restraint & keep them to yourself, this not the place for such nastiness, thank you! Please have some compassion.
Andrea was real, kind human being who had family and friends who will miss her greatly, I worked with Andrea for a few years, & she was quite the sweet fun character.
This was a sad, freak tragedy, shocking to all that knew her. My thoughts are with her husband and family, I hope that Gollum is found soon and is of comfort to you at this awful time.
