Babies love babies

My neighbor invited me over since her granddaughters were visiting. They wanted to see Mallory. The baby loved Mallory and gave a hysterical laugh every time she got licked.
It was evident that babies of any species are fascinated with other babies. So cute!
I love my big baby Mallory. She's a doll.

Kooking with Karen

Lemon BBQ Chicken in the crockpot:
6 chicken breasts (I used 3)
Place slices of lemon without seeds on bottom of crock pot
Chop 1/2 onion and place on top of lemon
Lay chicken on top
Mix 1/2 bottle thick bbq sauce and 1/2 cup cola together. Pour over chicken and cook for about 5 hours.
Once chicken is finished remove the chicken and lemon slices. Mix equal parts flour and water, usually 1/4 cup and put into crock pot. Put crock pot on high and allow sauce to thicken. Pour over chicken to serve.

A real dog

I'm so happy to have a baby girl. I couldn't order a collar right away, because it wouldn't be long before she outgrew it. I ordered her leash right away!I don't know if she's too happy with her stylist tho. Artimus would never tolerate this kind of treatment.
We finally get a real dog, and I do this to her... Hee hee
She is just too adorable! If I didn't dress her up, she would never show up in photos. That's my excuse.
But, alas, she is a real dog.
If I dress her up all the time, she's just gonna do something like this and ruin the whole outfit!

Dad and daughter bonding

I keep telling Mallory that I'm putting her picture up on Ebay.I'm thinking a little cash would come in pretty handy right about now.
Maybe simultaneously post her to Craig's List...She's got papers, up-to-date shots and everything.
I guess she got her paws on Tom.
I guess we will have to keep her.

our first pic with Mal

This was Mallory's very first night with us. We didn't know what to expect.
She needed to get up and move around a lot, but in general, she was just fine. She didn't cry or whine; she just didn't sleep very well. Understandable.

I can't wait to get a family photo with all five of us in the picture.

Mallory's changing our lives

She complicates everything; ....however, .....this face simplifies life quite quickly. This car ride was to Green Valley Park. It was her first time in the driver's seat. She's learning how to drive now. ;)
This little girl has rocked our world.. Artimus, Gollum, Tom and I have a new girl, and we are all learning the ropes. She outweighs Artimus and Gollum by about 6 lbs now.
Mostly she's just a teddy bear.
A very sweet, (Stephanie Plum's term) cuddle umpkins.

Mallory's first doctor visit

I scheduled Mallory her first trip to the vet in the afternoon as opposed to the morning.I need to think that I can make the experience a good one. A positive experience at the vet has never been a reality for me, so since I have a new puppy, I wanted to challenge the theory.
I walked a mile with Mallory then ran a second mile and walked a third mile.
I guess I can say the trip to the doctor was not a negative experience.
It wasn't a positive experience.
It was a non-experience. I think she slept through the whole thing. Not bad.
